Patrick has more than 30 years of hands on experience in real estate and relocation.  As a Marketing Manager with The Times Group in the early 70s, Patrick came into contact with many expatriate managers and businessman. He learned from talking to them about their experiences in Singapore that relocating and settling far away from one’s homeland is almost always frustrating and sometimes even traumatizing. Most of these expatriates had literally to find their own way around through trial and error. Wanting to make the relocation process for expatriates coming to Singapore a more pleasant and enjoyable experience,  Patrick decided to go into the real estate and relocation industry to change all that.

Since then,  there was no turning back. Patrick had successfully relocated and housed hundreds of  professionals, businessman, managers and executives including government and diplomatic officials from all over the globe. With his in depth knowledge of the real estate market in Singapore, each home search exercise is executed personally with a level of service surpassed by few in the industry.

Sylvester Lim - Director

Sylvester is also no stranger to the relocation business. For more than 10 years, Sylvester was helping expatriate families move their personal effects to and from Singapore. In his  worked as Move Manager with major moving companies in Singapore, Sylvester had been regularly consulted by leading expatriate publications on moving matters. Sylvester also has a diploma from FIDI on International moving. Sharing similar aspirations with Patrick, they decide to pull resources together to make Citystate.
